Our doctors utilize our in-house laboratory, outside reference labs, radiology, and ultrasound to diagnose both simple and complicated internal medical problems. The Community Animal Hospital team is experienced in treating a wide variety of disorders–ranging from immune-mediated blood disorders, kidney failure, diabetes mellitus, Addison’s disease, Cushing’s disease, hypoparathyroidism, and Fanconi’s syndrome to name a few. We often work closely with nationally known specialists to provide the best possible care for your precious pet. Should you want to pursue chemotherapy as a treatment option if your pet is diagnosed with cancer, we will work with an oncologist to develop a specific plan for your dog or cat.

When your pet needs to be hospitalized, the utmost care and attention to detail are provided. All pets on IV fluids are placed on fluid infusion pumps to ensure safe and accurate administration of fluids and medications. Our team of highly qualified, certified veterinary technicians provides top-notch and loving care, and our doctors strive to keep the lines of communication open so you are kept abreast of changes in your furry friend’s condition. While we are not a 24-hour facility, if your pet is critical they are monitored at intervals through the night, or we can arrange for transfer to a 24-hour hospital.
